One of the Guilds objectives is to provide clear identification & recognition for members to enable the public to distinguish them from the unskilled who pass themselves off as so called craftsmen. We believe this is doubly important here in Spain, due to the extremely transient nature of so called tradesmen.

We, Tim and Annette Goldsmith, have been trading legally on the Costa Blanca as PPS since April 2006.
Tim is a time served pattern maker/ model make since 1974, an engineer who works in wood, and prior to coming to Spain, produced work for companies such as Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Jaguar.
When we came to Spain we built a fully equipped workshop for Tim to make bespoke woodwork, and some beautiful pieces of furniture have been and are still being produced. Our business moved into the supply and installation of Glass Curtains as a result of Tim seeing a system for the first time in May 2006, as an engineer he was so impressed with the ingenuity of ‘Glass Curtains’ and the need for the extreme accuracy required to install them.
The vast majority of our business now comes from recommendation and by maintaining our core family values our business has gone from strength to strength, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, installing with finite precision and finishing to the highest standards possible, by adhering to these valued principles, we know we outshine our competitors.
On completion of our work we give all our clients a ‘Satisfaction Questionnaire’ form to fill in, which we then ask to be returned to the Guild direct, therefore the Guild are constantly ‘policing’ our standards.
